SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - No.11 McKendree University men's wrestling (3-2, 1-0 GLVC) opened its conference slate on Thursday afternoon with two dominant wins on the road at the Drury Tri-Duals as the Bearcats disposed of Neosho COmmunity College, 55-0, before tackling Drury in its Great Lakes Valley Conference-opener, 28-14. The Bearcats improved to 3-2 with the pair of victories and continue conference matches on Saturday, December 6, with a 7:00PM bout at Maryville across the St. Louis metro. McKendree then hits the road for the final event of the first semester and the largest Division II tournament of the year, the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 13-14.
