LEBANON, Ill. | Melvin Price Convocation Center - McKendree University men's wrestling, ranked No.8 in the country, closed out its home schedule on Thursday night with a win over Great Lakes Valley Conference-foe No.25 Indianapolis with a 19-19 final score and a victory vie tiebreakers. The Bearcats claimed the win after tallying more total pins than the Hounds with 197 Logan Kvien putting his squad in position for the win with his result in the 197 bout. McKendree finished its conference season with a 5-0 record, giving itself the top seed in the GLVC Championship on February 15 at Pepsi Arena, hosted by Quincy. Prior to the first postseason action, the Bearcats head out to Indianapolis for the Greyhound Duals and Greyhound Open on February 7 and 8 at the UIndy ARC.
