INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. | UIndy ARC - No.8 McKendree University men's wrestling finished up its regular season competition at the Greyhound Duals on February 7 and then the Greyhound Open on February 8 with a 3-0 result in duals and three placers in the open hosted by UIndy. The Bearcats kicked off the weekend with the drubbing of a trio of squads, 43-6 over Thomas More, 46-3 over Kentucky Wesleyan, and 39-6 against Glenville State on Saturday. On Sunday, McKendree pushed out a number of its athletes for the Greyhound Open, placing three individuals in 197 Casey Olszowka (Second Place), 197 Brandon Lloyd (Sixth Place), and 184 Shamon Handegan (Eighth Place). McKendree starts up its postseason action next weekend with the GLVC Championships on February 15 at Pepsi Arena, hosted by Quincy. The Bearcats are in pursuit of their seventh Great Lakes Valley Conference crown and third consecutive.
