ORLANDO, Fla. – The dance team performed at Dance Team Union (DTU) Nationals over the weekend from April 10th-12th at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. 

The program competed in both the Division II Jazz and the Division II Team Performance. 

The Bearcats placed 12th in Division II Jazz. Day one saw the team have score of 81.24, which then led them to compete in finals and ended in a final score of 81.62. 

McKendree placed sixth in Division II Team Performance. The team had a score of 80.62 on day one, leading them to perform in finals, where they finished with a final score of 81.74.

"We went down as a team to do the very best we could have, and we did! This year has been all about trusting the process, and we did so. We are not just only the McKendree University Dance Team, we are also a family. We thank The College Classic for giving us this opportunity to show them what we are as a team. We also thank the McKendree athletic department and the president for letting us get to go and experience an amazing nationals event that we will never forget!"
