BEFORE McK: Rey is a decorated athlete and the sister of current women's swim team captain Sydney Rey. For her club team, the Flyers Aquatic Swim Team, she has made the Junior National cut in the 50 freestyle, and Sectional cuts for the 50, 100, and 200 freestyle events as well as the 100 and 200 backstroke. She has been a part of the Columbia High School swim team since it was established, and made State in the 50 freestyle at the High School Sectionals in 2017.
