BEFORE McK: Was a six-time Texas State Championship competitor, taking consecutive titles in 2018 and 2019. In 2019, Nunez helped her Hanks High School girls wrestling team to its sixth consecutive team championship in Class 5A. She was also a three-time District Championship competitor, with two titles; three-time Regional competitor, with one title; and a two-time All-American. Additionally, Nunez was a member of the Takedown Elite Wrestling Club team.

PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Gabriella and Oscar Nunez.
