2020-21: Had seven top-20 finishes, his highest at finished first on Carlyle Lake with the Big Bass Catch... took 10th with the Big Bass Catch of 5.09-lbs on Kinkaid Lake, 10th on Vandalia Lake, 16th on Stephen Forbes Lake, 13th on Centralia Lake, fifth on Vandalia Lake, and second at Greenville University Spring Invite... was a member of the 2020 FLW Central Division Championship team

BEFORE McK: Olson  fished with The Bass Federation (TBF), Fishing League Worldwide (FLW), American Bass Anglers (ABA), the Illinois Bass Nation (IBN), IHSA, Fishers of Men Legacy Series, Fishers of Men Adult Series, and the Anglers Choice Series. Olson has five top-5 finishes, including three first-place finishes in the Fishers of Men Legacy series. He also has three top-5 finishes, including a win in the Anglers Choice Braidwood Division. Olson placed fifth in the 2019 TBF State Championship, 13^th in the 2018 final, ninth in the IHSA State Championship, and ninth in the District Championship on poll 13 of the Mississippi River. He finished 12^th at the FLW Open on Lake Guntersville, seventh at the FLW on Lake Hamilton, Ark., 15^th at the Legacy Championship on Wheeler, and third at the ABA event on Lake Michigan. In the Angler Choice National Championship, Olson finished 70^th out of 316 boats. Additionally, he was named to the 2020 Bassmaster High School All-State Fishing Team.
