2020-21: Had four top-14 finishes, his highest at third on Centralia Lake... took 14th on Kinkaid Lake, 19th on Coffeen Lake, 15th on Vandalia Lake, and seventh on Carlyle Lake
BEFORE McK: Matual spent his high school career fishing for Nazareth Academy. During the 2018 and 2019 seasons, Matual fished the Michigan division of the BFL, which included competitions on Burt Mullet, Lake Erie, Muskegon, Lake St. Clair, and the Detroit River. Matual finished the 2018 season 20th in the point standings. Matual was awarded the Co-Angler Big Bass Award for his 5 lb., 4 oz. bass catch at T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Michigan Division opener.
PERSONAL: Born Oct. 14...son of Sandra and David Matual...majoring in Accounting...has one sister, Monica...lists the Chicago White Sox as his favorite sports team.
