2014-15 SEASON: Earned All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors by tying for fifth at the season-ending GLVC Tournament...led the Bearcats in scoring at 75.2 strokes per 18 holes...fired a season-best round of 71 at the Arch Cup...closed the season with nine consecutive rounds below 80...was named to the Academic All-GLVC squad.
BEFORE McK: Came to McKendree from Collinsville High School...averaged 71 strokes per 18 holes as a senior for the Kahoks...won three tournaments and placed 19th at the IHSA state tournament as a senior...was a three-time first-team All-Conference and All-Area selection at Collinsville...was named the team Most Valuable Player in each of his last three seasons for the Kahoks.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Adam and Jean Sampson.
