Noah Javens

2024-25: Javens inaugural coaching year at McKendree made an immediate difference, helping freshman Vova Gavrysh earn the GLVC freshman of the year award. He assisted head coach Jimmy Tierney to a 8-1 regular season record, narrowly placed second at the GLVC Championships, and third at the NCAA Division II Championships. At the GLVC Championships, the Bearcats set the school record for the most points scored with 1734.5, and second most points ever at an NCAA national championship with 349. The women placed third at the GLVC Championship and tied for 17th at the NCAA Division II National Championship. 

Before Coaching At McKednree: Javens joined The College of Wooster (Oh.) swimming & diving team as a volunteer assistant coach ahead of the 2023-24 season. His coaching career started with the Greater Toledo Aquatic Club. Javens spent his undergraduate years at McKendree, helping the 2022 team place fourth at the NCAA DII National Championship meet, placing 16th in the 200 butterfly earning All-American honors. He also collected Academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference accolades.Â
