Joost takes the reigns of the tennis program in the summer of 2024. Previously, Joost served as the head tennis coach at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri from 2019-2024.
At McKendree:
2024-2025 Women’s: The Bearcats posted a 7-16 record, with one 1st team all-conference player. Six athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and the team was named ITA All-Academic Team.
2024-2025 Men’s: The Bearcats posted an 8-16 record, with two 1st team all-conference players, and one honorable mention All-Conference. Twelve athletes were names ITA Scholar-Athletes, and the team was named ITA All-Academic Team.
Before McKendree:
2019-2024 WWU Women’s: The Owls posted a 50-43 record, with four conference championships. Four athletes were named All-American, twenty-four named All-Conference Players. 32 athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and four of the teams named ITA All-Academic Teams. Joost received 2 Regional Coach of the Year Awards, and was the 2023-2024 NAIA President of Tennis Coaches Association
2019-2024 WWU Men’s: The Owls posted a 73-29 record, with three conference championships. Twenty-four athletes named All-Conference players. 24 athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and four teams were named ITA All-Academic Teams. Joost received two Regional Coach of the Year awards and was the 2023 National Coach of the Year.
