Mandeep Yadav is entering his second season on the tennis coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach in 2015-16.
Yadav helped lead the men's and women's programs to a combined 29-20 record in 2014-15, including an appearance by the men's program in the GLVC tournament and finishing the season ranked No. 10 in both the NCAA and ITA Midwest rankings.
Yadav joined the program after serving as a tennis pro at Weston Tennis Center in Weston, Fla., for one year. While at Weston, he served as the academy director, the camps director, and tournament director.
Prior to his stint at Weston, he served as an assistant coach at Lynchburg College and was a volunteer assistant coach at Liberty University, his alma mater. As a student-athlete at Liberty, he posted a singles mark of 18-12 overall and a 21-9 record in doubles between 2010-2012, and was an All-Conference honoree at no. 5 singles.
Mandeep Yadav comes to the Lynchburg College tennis program playing at Liberty University from 2010-2012. While there, Yadav finished with a singles record of 18-12 and a doubles record of 21-9. He also received two different accolades for his play: Student Athlete of the Month for March 2012 for his athletic and academic performance, and All-Big South Conference at the number five singles spot.
A native of Chandigarh, India, Yadav had previously earned a top 20 ranking in India and was ranked 495th in the ITF junior rankings.
