BEFORE McK: Competed in sprinting events both individually and on relay teams at Macomb High School. As a senior, broke the school record in both the 100-meter and 4x100-meter relay. Awarded outdoor Conference champion. Also participated, and won the Peoria Honor Roll meet in the 100-meter.
