As A Junior: Earned his first All-America honor with a third place finish at 174 pounds at NCWA National Championship...posted an overall record of 26-10...claimed a championship at the NCWA Regional tournament...was runner-up at Central Missouri Open...finished in fourth place at Greyhound Open.
As A Sophomore: Was an NAIA National Qualifier at 165 pounds...posted a 33-17 record...was runner-up in Fresh/Soph division at Eastern Michigan University Open and at Cumberland University Open...finished in third place at Missouri Valley College Invitational...finished in fourth place at Battle of the Rockies Open and Greyhound Open...finished in sixth place at NAIA East Region Qualifier.
As A Freshman: Was an NAIA National Qualifier at 157 pounds...posted a 12-16 overall record...finished in fourth place at Wisconsin Open.
Before McK: Posted more than 150 career wins at Montini Catholic High School...IHSA Class AA state champion as a senior at 160 pounds...was runner-up at 145 pounds as a junior.
