BEFORE McK: Graduated Pekin Community High School as Summa cum lade, a National Honor Society member, an Illinois State Scholar and IWCOA All-State student. Haynes posted an overall 132-33 record wrestling as a captain for the Dragons. He was a four-time Illinois 3A Sectional Qualifier for the 106-lb, 113-lb, 126-lb, and 138-lb class respectively; three-time Second Mid-Illini Conference and one-time First Team Mid-Illini Conference honoree, and a two-time Chuck Murdock Award Winner as part of the Journal Star All-Area Team.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Brandy and Adam Haynes.
