Shawn Bibee

Shawn Bibee has returned to his alma mater to serve as a graduate assistant coach at McKendree University. Bibee will assist the men's and women's bowling program starting the 2019 season.

Bibee competed on the McKendree University men's bowling team in 2013 through 2016. He came into the team as a top-ranked bowler from Michigan. He was one of eight bowlers for the Bearcats that captured the runner-up spot at the 2013 United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Intercollegiate Team Championship (ITC).

The first win of the 2013-14 season came during the Mid-States Championship, where Bibee took 27th-place with 1,736 pins and a 192.89 average in the two-day tournament. At the National Collegiate Team Match games, he individually finifshed in ninth-place with 1,287 pins and a 214.5 average.

A consecutive tournament wins to start the 2015-16 season at the Lions Classic boosted the team's moral. Bibee finished fourth-place overall with a 205.57 average. At the National Collegiate Team Match Game that year, he earned a ninth-place finish with 1,306 pins and a 217.67 average.

As his time as a Bearcat came winding down, the 2016 ITC drew near, and Bibee was one of the few representative Bearcats from the 2013 team. The Bearcats took home the title of their first-every ITC victory, a great way to end the season.
