McKendree University Athletics

Nina grew up playing in a small town in upstate NY for the Skaneateles Lady Lakers. She went to Penn State 2012-2016 where she played for their D1 ACHA team. Her team went to the National tournament 3 years in a row. Nina played both wing and defense at Penn State.

Nina got her undergraduate degree in Health Policy and Administration while minoring in economics. She also studied ancient Greek, Latin, and ancient literature throughout high school and college.

Most recently, Nina coached for the Syracuse Nationals AAA Tier I girls 12U and 14U for the last two years while working in an ophthalmology clinic (eye trauma and disease care). Nina is getting her MBA to advance her career in healthcare administration.

Nina is passionate about the growth and success of women’s hockey in the US and abroad. “Wherever life takes me, I want to build girls and women’s hockey programs in that area as a way to give back to the sport that has given so much to me. Working and studying at McKendree is an opportunity to not only develop myself as a coach at a high level, but also acquire the education needed to advance my career.”

Nina has a dog and a cat, Piper and Jack respectively, who are also big fans of all things Bearcats!
