Paris Suzuki

Paris Suzuki is in her second season as the Assistant Coach/Director of Hockey Operations for the McKendree University women’s hockey program. Suzuki assisted the team to an appearance at the National Championship Tournament during the 2021-22 season.

Before her coaching position with the Bearcats, Suzuki played as a forward for the McKendree Women’s Ice Hockey team. Though she committed as a forward, Paris made some game appearances as a defenseman in the 2021 National Championships, where she assisted the only goal scored for McKendree in the championships that were played in Minot, N.D.

As a player for the Bearcats, she played in 91 games and scored 15 goals, had 26 assists and tallied seven power play goals. In addition, she had one game winning goal. 

Prior to playing at McKendree, Suzuki served as the assistant captain for the Anaheim Lady Ducks U19 AA team. She played in the 2012-13 USA Hockey National Championships and was invited to the USA Hockey District camps in both 2013-14 and 2015-16.

While working with the women's hockey team, Suzuki, who is the daughter of Alice and Gary Suzuki, is pursuing her MBA from McKendree.
