Mawusi Amos

In July 2022, McKendree University welcomed Mawusi Amos to the athletic staff as an Assistant Athletic Performance Coach.
 
Amos joins the Bearcats following over two years in Nashville, Tenn., where he worked at N-Zone Sports, D1 Sports Training, and as a contracted personal trainer. At N-Zone Sports, Amos worked with young children in the development of foundational athletic skills. Amos organized and implemented fitness plans in his time at D1 Sports and as a personal trainer.
 
From 2018-2020, Amos worked at Manhattan College in Bronx, NY. He managed training programs for women’s volleyball, softball, women’s rowing, men’s golf, and men’s and women’s cross country.
 
Amos headed the Strength and Conditioning program at Fairfield Ludlowe High School in Fairfield, Conn. He oversaw the strength training of 10 different sports from 2016-2018.
 
Prior to his position at Fairfield Ludlowe, Amos attended Middle Tennessee State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Amos obtained his Master’s degree in Human Performance and Sports Nutrition from Sacred Heart University.
