(LEBANON, Ill., Feb. 27)—The McKendree University men's tennis team coasted to its third consecutive victory on Saturday with a 7-2 triumph at the University of Indianapolis.

McKendree, the No. 20-ranked team in the NAIA, was playing its first road match of the 2011 season. The Bearcats won five of six singles matches and took two of three contests in doubles competition.

With the victory, McKendree improves to 3-1 on the season. The Bearcats will play again on March 18 against the University of Southern Indiana. The match is slated to be held at Kings Point Tennis Club in Belleville.
