(LEBANON, Ill., March 22)—Playing for the first time this season at the home tennis courts in Lebanon, the McKendree University men's tennis team rolled to a 9-0 victory Tuesday against Webster University.
In six singles matches, the Bearcats lost just a total of 15 games on its way to the shutout victory. McKendree, the No. 20-ranked team in the latest NAIA poll, won its sixth consecutive match to improve to 6-1 on the season. The Bearcats will be on the road Wednesday for a match at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. First serve is set for 3 p.m. at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in Forest Park.
