(LEBANON, Ill., April 21)—Playing in its first match in nearly two weeks, the McKendree University men's tennis team cruised to an 8-1 victory Thursday morning on the road against Campbellsville University. The match was played in Lebanon, Tenn.
The Bearcats, ranked No. 20 in the latest NAIA men's tennis poll, swept all three doubles contests and picked up five singles wins to register the match victory. McKendree is now 16-2 overall and will face Cumberland University Thursday afternoon.
McKendree had not played since a 7-2 triumph over Missouri Valley College on April 9 in Belleville.
