The McKendree University women's basketball team will hit the road this weekend to play Truman State University.
The Bearcats enter the contest with a 1-1 record, while the game is the season opener for the Bulldogs.
DOUBLE FIGURES: Sophomore guard
Caty Ponce (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville) and freshman guard
Liz Gilman (St. Louis, Mo./Principia) are both averaging double-figures heaidng into Saturday's game. Ponce has score 21 and 20 points in her first two games this year, while Gilman has score 17 and 12 points in her first two collegiate games.
ALL-TIME SERIES WITH TRUMAN STATE: McKendree is 0-3 all-time against Truman State, and lost last season to the Bulldogs, 77-55, on February 11.
