Box Score (St. Louis, Mo., Sep. 19)- The McKendree University women's soccer team tied Maryville University, 0-0, in double overtime on Wednesday in a midweek Great Lakes Valley Conference match.

The Bearcats are now 3-1-1 overall (2-1-1 GLVC) and will host University of Indianapolis on Sep. 21 at 5 p.m., followed by a noon matchup against Saint Joseph's College on Sep. 23, in a pair of GLVC contests.

McKendree started the contest well and had the Saints on the defensive, outshooting the hosts, 5-2, in the opening period, but couldn't get any shots past Maryville goalkeeper Jena Casagrande.

Maryville matched the Bearcats in the second period with both teams taking five shots, but the score remained 0-0 through regulation.

The Bearcats had chances in both overtime periods, but couldn't capitalize on their opportunities to pull out a win.

Junior goalkeeper Maggie Dudas (St. Peters, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt South) played all 110 minutes in goal for McKendree and had three saves on the day.
