Box Score (RENSSALAER, Ind., Oct. 11)- The McKendree University women's soccer team played to its fourth tie of the season on Friday following a 1-1 tie at Saint Joseph's College.

The Bearcats are now 5-3-4 overall and 3-2-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and will travel to Indianapolis, Ind., on Sunday, Oct. 13 to face University of Indianapolis at 12 p.m. EST.

McKendree got on the scoreboard in the 14th minute on a goal by sophomore midfielder Cassie Kaiping (Waterloo, Ill./Waterloo) off a corner kick by senior defender Tara Kennedy (Waterloo, Ill./Gibault Catholic) to take a 1-0 lead.

The Pumas evened the score, 1-1, in the 77th minute on a goal by Taylor Henry off a deflection in the box and the game was sent to overtime.

The Bearcats outshot the Pumas, 5-2, in the two overtime periods, but were unable to score to end the game tied 1-1.

Sophomore goalkeeper Taylor Zerbe (St. Louis, Mo./Trinity Catholic) is now 2-1-1 overall on the season and had three saves.
