Box Score (LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 27)- The McKendree University women's soccer team led 2-0 early in the second half and held on after giving up a goal to earn a 2-1 win over Maryville University on Sunday.
The Bearcats improved to 6-5-6 overall and 4-4-6 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and will play their regular season finale on Wednesday, Oct. 30, when they host University of Illinois-Springfield at 5 p.m. It will also be senior night.

The Saints cut their deficit to 2-1 in the 51st minute, but McKendree held the visitors without another goal to hold on for the win.

Maggie Dudas (St. Peters, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt South) improved to 4-4-4 overall and had four saves in the win. Following the win, Dudas moved into fourth place in school history with a career goals-against average of 1.18, into a tie for fifth place with 13 career wins, and into ninth place with 113 career saves.
