The McKendree University women's basketball team travels north for two games this weekend. The Bearcats will play University of Wisconsin-Parkside on Thursday at 5:30 p.m., before traveling to play Lewis University on Saturday at 5 p.m.

SCOUTING THE RANGERS: University of Wisconsin-Parkside enters the week with a record of 14-7 overall and 8-5 in the GLVC. The Rangers splits their two contests last week, losing 69-57 at Kentucky Wesleyan on Thursday, before defeating Southern Indiana 58-40 on Saturday. The Rangers received votes in the most recent NCAA Division II Poll. McKendree is 1-1 in the all-time series against Wisconsin-Parkside, falling in the previous meeting on Jan. 19, 62-54.

SCOUTING THE FLYERS: Lewis University enters the week with a record of 16-5 overall and 9-4 in the GLVC. The Flyers were swept last weekend, losing at Southern Indiana 68-55, before dropping a 74-61 decision at Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday. The Flyers received votes in the most recent NCAA Division II Poll. McKendree is 1-1 in the all-time series against Lewis, falling in the previous meeting on Jan. 17 on 69-55.

MILESTONE WATCH: Shelby Woelfel needs one block to move into a tie for eighth place with Suzy Gerler on McKendree's all-time blocks list. Woelfel currently has 77 career blocks. Leann Voss needs one steal to move into a tie for seventh place with Cheryl Stinchfield in career steals at McKendree. Voss currently has 178 career steals. Caty Ponce recently moved up on McKendree's top ten list for three-pointer's in a single season. Ponce is currently tied with Ashley Agee (Moberly, Mo./Moberly) for 8th place with 52 this season and needs one more to move into a tie for sixth place with Haley Klingelhoefer (2009-10) and Kristin Hudstedde (2000-01).
