The McKendree University women's basketball team hosts two games this weekend. The Bearcats welcome Saint Joseph's College to town Thursday night at 5:30 p.m., before hosting University of Indianapolis on Saturday at 1 p.m.

PLAY4KAY EVENT SATURDAY: Make sure you wear your pink to the game on Saturday when the Bearcats will be holding its annual Play4Kay Breast Cancer Awareness game. The Bearcats will be taking donations and will also be raffling gift baskets with proceeds going to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

SCOUTING THE PUMAS: Saint Joseph's College enters the week 1-18 overall and 0-11 in the GLVC. The Pumas have lost 11 straight games. McKendree is 1-0 all-time against the Pumas, winning the only meeting, 84-66, at Saint Joseph's on Jan. 26..

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS: University of Indianapolis enters the week with an overall record of 13-6 overall and 6-5 in the GLVC. The Greyhounds have lost three-straight games by a combined eight points. McKendree is 0-1 all-time against the Greyhounds, dropping the only meeting, 81-39, at Indianapolis on Jan. 24.

MILESTONE WATCH: Shelby Woelfel needs one block to move into a tie for eighth place with Suzy Gerler on McKendree's all-time blocks list. Woelfel currently has 77 career blocks. Leann Voss needs three steals to move into a tie for seventh place with Cheryl Stinchfield in career steals at McKendree. Voss currently has 176 career steals.
