(LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 23)- The McKendree men's tennis team earned its first Great Lakes Valley Conference victory on Saturday in a 5-4 win at Bellarmine University.

The Bearcats improved to 8-1 overall and 1-0 in the GLVC with their seventh-straight win, and will host University of Missouri-St. Louis on Wednesday, March 27 in a non-conference match at 11 a.m.

Senior Gabor Toth (Cegleo, Hungary/Kossuth Lajos) sealed the win for McKendree with a three set, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3, win over Bellarmine's Anton Rabinov at No. 1 singles. Rabinov is currently ranked No. 2 in the Midwest Region, while Bellarmine is ranked No. 10 in the Midwest Region as a team.
