The McKendree University women's basketball team will close out its four-game homestand this weekend.
The Bearcats host Saint Joseph's College on Thursday at 5:30 p.m., before playing host to No. 18 University of Indianapolis on Saturday at 1 p.m.
SCOUTING THE PUMAS: Saint Joseph's College enters the weekend with an overall record of 3-11 and a 1-6 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Pumas have lost three-straight games, getting swept last weekend in losses at Southern Indiana, 69-56, and Bellarmine, 91-83, before dropping a Monday contest at No. 14 Indianapolis, 88-63. Junior guard Jasmyne Reynolds leads Saint Joseph's with 17.5 points and 4.3 rebounds/game. McKendree is 2-0 in the all-time series with the Pumas.
SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS: University of Indianapolis enters the weekend ranked No. 18 with an overall record of 15-3 and 6-1 in the GLVC. The Greyhounds won their 10th-straight game last Thursday in a 86-72 win at Bellarmine, but had the streak snapped on Saturday at Southern Indiana in a 73-44 loss. The Greyhounds defeated Saint Joseph's on Monday 88-63. Senior guard Katy McIntosh leads Indianapolis with 17.3 points and 4.6 rebounds/game. The Bearcats are 0-2 all-time against the Greyhounds.

Brittany Willis (St. Louis, Mo./Parkway South) needs 62 points to become the 14th member of the 1,000 point club at McKendree. Junior guard
Caty Ponce (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville) needs 33 points to pass Heather Elders for the No. 12 spot on the all-time scoring list, and sophomore guard
Liz Gilman (St. Louis, Mo./Principia) needs eight 3-pointer's to reach 100 for her career and move into the top 10 in school history.
