(LEBANON, Ill., Nov. 25)- The McKendree University women's basketball team will host a contest Tuesday night, before heading west for an away game on Saturday.

The Bearcats will host Lindenwood University (Mo.) on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m., before heading down I-44 to Bolivar, Mo., to play at Southwest Baptist University on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.

SCOUTING THE LADY LIONS: Lindenwood University enters Tuesday's game with an overall record of 4-0. The Lady Lions picked up two wins this past weekend at the FCA & Zaxby's Tip-Off Classic in Clinton, Miss., over Selma University, 83-40, and Lane College, 82-65. Lindenwood is led this season by sophomore Kassidy Gengenbacher's 15.3 points and five rebounds/game.

SCOUTING THE BEARCATS: Southwest Baptist University enters the week with an overall record of 1-2. The Bearcats dropped their first two games of the season, 76-74, to Ouachita Baptist University, and 80-62 to No. 3 Drury University, before bouncing back with a 60-46 win over University of Illinois-Springfield last Saturday. Southwest Baptist is led by junior forward Brook Duncan's 16.3 points and 4.7 rebounds/game this season.

MILESTONE WATCH: Senior guard Caty Ponce (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville) needs nine points to pass Gina Bloemer for eighth place on McKendree's all-time scoring list. Ponce also needs 25 three-pointers to pass Katie Hasheider as the all-time leader in school history in career three-pointer's made.
