Box Score (BOLIVAR, Mo., Nov. 29)- The McKendree University women's basketball team dropped a non-conference contest at Southwest Baptist University 54-43 on Saturday night.

The Bearcats fall to 0-5 overall and will host Central Christian College on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 1 p.m.

Junior guard/forward Danielle Amann-Stewart (Mascoutah, Ill./Mascoutah) led McKendree with 13 points in the loss.

The Bearcats had a slow start in the contest, shooting just over 19 percent from the field in the opening half. McKendree played the hosts even in the second half, 28-28, while shooting 40.7-percent form the field, but couldn't overcome its first half woes in the loss.
