Box Score (ST. LOUIS, Mo., Jan. 4)- The McKendree University women's basketball team lost a 66-57 decision at University of Missouri-St. Louis on Sunday.

The Bearcats fall to 1-9 overall and 0-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and will host their home conference opener on Thursday, Jan. 8 against Truman State University at 5:30 p.m.

Sophomore forward Gabrielle Williams (Minooka, Ill./Plainfield East) led McKendree with 19 points, while junior guard/forward Jameeka Bouie (Racine, Wis./Case) added 12 points.

The Bearcats were unable to find their offensive rhythm in the first half, shooting 37-percent from the field (10-27), and only making one of seven three-point attempts. McKendree found its range in the second half and made 48-percent of its shot attempts, but couldn't overcome the deficit in the loss.
