(KIRKSVILLE, Mo., Oct. 25)- The McKendree University women's soccer dropped a Great Lakes Valley Conference match at Truman State University 3-0 on Sunday.
The Bearcats fall to 7-7-3 overall and 6-6-2 in the GLVC, and will host University of Illinois Springfield on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 5 p.m., for the final regular season game of the season.
The Bulldogs, who received votes in the latest NSCAA Rankings, were the aggressor in the first half by putting seven of its 11 shots on goal in the opening period. Truman State scored its first goal in the fourth minute of the game, and followed with goals in 22nd and 41st minute to build a 3-0 lead at the half. McKendree put two of its four shots on frame in the second half, but were unable to cut into the deficit in the loss.

Taylor Zerbe (St. Louis, Mo./Trinity Catholic) fell to 7-7-3 overall and had five saves in the loss, while freshman
Kathy Bradley (Mahomet, Ill./Mahomet-Seymour) played the final eight minutes of the game in goal.
