(WILLIAMSBURG, Ky., Oct. 9)- The McKendree University women's wrestling team posted a 2-1 record on day one at the Patriot Duals hosted by University of the Cumberlands.

The Bearcats opened the day with a 46-0 win over Cumberland University, but lost its next match on criteria to University of the Cumberlands, 21-21. McKendree closed out the day with a 41-5 win over Lindenwood University.

The McKendree "B" squad also competed at the event, but went 0-3 on day one of the event.
