(LEBANON, Ill., Dec. 16)- The McKendree University women's basketball team posted its third straight win on Wednesday following a 77-44 victory over Oakland City University.
The Bearcats improve to 4-6 overall and will travel to Owensboro, Ky., on December 19-20 to play in the Fairfield Inn Christmas Classic hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan College.

Ellie Pusheck (South Milwaukee, Wis./South Milwaukee) and senior guard
Kelsee Ennis (Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington South) led all players with 19 and 14 points, respectively. Ennis' 14 points matched her career high. Freshman forward
Jordan Morton (Olathe, Kan./Olathe South) narrowly missed out on the double-double with eight points and a career-high 12 rebounds.
McKendree got off to a fast start and scored the first 11 points of the game, only for the Lady Oaks to battle back and cut the score to 20-16 at the end of the first quarter. The Bearcats went on a 12-0 run in the middle of the second quarter to extend their lead back out to 34-20 and went into the half with a 38-25 lead.
It was all McKendree in the second half, as the Bearcats led by as many as 36 in the final two quarters of play. McKendree held Oakland City to only 19 points in the second half and outscored the visitors 26-0 in the paint in the final half.
Christiana Purvis led the Lady Oaks with 10 points.
