(LEBANON, Ill., Dec. 2)- The McKendree University women's basketball team will open up its Great Lakes Valley Conference-slate this week on the road.

The Bearcats travel to Evansville, Ind., to play University of Southern Indiana on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 5:15 p.m., before traveling to Louisville, Ky., to play at Bellarmine University on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 1 p.m. ET.

SCOUTING THE SCREAMING EAGLES: University of Southern Indiana enters the week with an overall record of 4-1. The Screaming Eagles have won four of their last five games, including wins over Alice Lloyd College, 82-45, and West Virgina State University, 71-56, in their last two games. The Screaming Eagles are led by junior forward Hannah Washer's 16.8 points and 8.8 rebounds/game this season.

SCOUTING THE KNIGHTS: Bellarmine University enters the week with an overall record of 3-0. The Knights defeated Kentucky State University, 77-61, in their last game on Nov. 28. Junior forward Sarah Galvin leads Bellarmine with 18.3 points and 7.3 rebounds/game this season.
