(LEBANON, Ill., Dec. 8)- The McKendree University women's basketball team will return home for a non-conference game on Wednesday night, before making the short trip to Springfield, Ill., on Saturday for a conference game.

The Bearcats host Central Christian College on Wednesday at 5 p.m., before traveling to play University of Illinois Springfield in a Great Lakes Valley Conference contest on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 1 p.m.

SCOUTING THE SAINTS: Central Christian College enters the week with an overall record of 3-4. The Saints won games on back-to-back nights last week, defeating Manhattan Christian College, 81-73, before earning a 64-55 win over Barclay College the following night. Taylor Salmons leads Central Christian with 15 points and 4.3 rebounds/game.

SCOUTING THE PRAIRIE STARS: University of Illinois Springfield enters the week with an overall record of 3-4 with a 0-2 mark in the GLVC. The Prairie Stars have lost their last three games, including losses to Bellarmine University and University of Southern Indiana to open up conference play last weekend. Shelbi Patterson leads Illinois Springfield with 11.1 points and 3.6 rebounds/game.
