Caty Ponce (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville) and
Haeley Kreisel (Warsaw, Mo./Warsaw).
McKendree falls to 2-23 overall and 1-16 in GLVC and will host University of Illinois Springfield on Thursday, Feb. 26 for the season finale at 5:30 p.m.
Sophomore forward
Emily Pusheck (South Milwaukee, Wis./South Milwaukee) led four Bearcat players in double-figures with a career-high 18 points. Sophomore forward
Gabrielle Williams (Minooka, Ill./Plainfield East) added 17 points, while Ponce and sophomore forward
Ellie Pusheck (South Milwaukee, Wis./South Milwaukee) each scored 10 points. Ponce also had a career-high eight assists.
McKendree battled back-and-forth with the Flyers in the opening half, but could not find its range from downtown with no three's in the first half to trail 48-34 at the break. Lewis only made one more shot from the field than the Bearcats in the second half, but McKendree only made two of its nine three-point attempts in the second half and were unable to cut into the deficit in the loss.
