(LEBANON, Ill., Feb. 26)- The McKendree University women's basketball team will play its final game of the 2014-15 season on Thursday night.

The Bearcats host University of Illinois at Springfield on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 5:30 p.m. in the season finale for both teams.

SCOUTING THE PRAIRIE STARS: University of Illinois Springfield enters Thursday with an overall record of 5-20 and a 1-16 mark in the GLVC. The Prairie Stars lost both its contests last weekend to No. 2 Lewis University and University of Wisconsin Parkside and have lost 13-straight games. Jameeshia Armstrong leads the Prairie Stars with 9.4 points/game. The Bearcats defeated the Prairie Stars in Springfield, 70-61, back on January 19.

MILESTONE WATCH: Caty Ponce (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville) needs 10 points to pass Kari Crnkovich for fifth place on McKendree's all-time scoring list. She also needs five free throws to pass Brittany Willis (St. Louis, Mo./Parkway South) for seventh place all-time in career free throws made.
