(LEBANON, Ill., Feb. 5)- The McKendree University women's basketball team will hit the road for the final time in the 2014-15 season this weekend before returning home for a five-game homestand.

The Bearcats travel to Rolla, Mo., Thursday, Feb. 5 to face Missouri S&T at 5:30 p.m., before heading to Springfield, Mo., on Saturday, Feb. 7 to face No. 21 Drury University at 1 p.m.

SCOUTING THE LADY MINERS: Missouri S&T enters the week with an overall record of 4-15 with an 0-11 recor din the GLVC. The Lady Miners lost both of their games last weekend, and have lost 10-straight games. Freshman guard Janie Arand leads Missouri S&T with 8.3 points and 2.5 rebounds/game.

SCOUTING THE LADY PANTHERS: Drury University enters the week ranked No. 21 with an overall record of 16-3 and a 10-1 mark in the GLVC. Drury has won its last four games, including wins over Truman State University and Quincy University last weekend. Junior guard Annie Armstrong leads the Lady Panthers with 14.9 points and 3.2 rebounds/game.

LEAGUE LEADER: Senior guard Caty Ponce (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville) currently leads the conference in free throw percentage shooting 96.9 percent (31-32) from the charity stripe.

MILESTONE WATCH: Ponce needs 60 points to pass Kari Crnkovich for fifth place on McKendree's all-time scoring list. She also needs 10 assists to move into sixth place on the all-time assists list.
