(LEBANON, Ill., Jan. 6)- The McKendree University women's basketball team will be on the road this week for two Great Lakes Valley Conference contests.

The Bearcats travel to Kirksville, Mo., to play Truman State University on Thursday, Jan. 7 at 5:30 p.m., before traveling to Quincy, Ill., to play No. 19 Quincy University on Saturday at 1 p.m.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS: Truman State University enters the week with an overall record of 8-5 and a 2-1 record in the GLVC. The Bulldogs have won three of their last five games, but lost its last game, 61-60, in double overtime in a non-conference game at University of Missouri-St. Louis. Senior center Michalina Tomczak leads Truman State with 11.7 points and 6.2 rebounds/game.

SCOUTING THE LADY HAWKS: Quincy University enters the week ranked No. 19 in the latest NCAA Division II rankings with an overall record of 11-1 and a 2-1 record in the GLVC. The Hawks have won their last three games, including a 71-46 win over Missouri Valley College on Jan. 2. Senior guard Maggie Cunningham leads the Lady Hawks with 11.6 points and 5.1 rebounds/game.
