(LEBANON, Ill., Nov. 17) – The McKendree University women's hockey team takes on Grand Valley State University on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and again Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Georgetown Ice Center in Hudsonville, Michigan. The Bearcats also take on the Davenport University Panthers during the road trip on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at the Patterson Ice Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The Bearcats are 7-5 overall, after winning two of three road games in Colorado last weekend. With the most recent rankings, McKendree sits in the No. 13 spot looking to take on No. 4 Grand Valley State and No. 14 Davenport. The Lakers are 6-4-3 overall, with their losses coming against Adrian College and Miami University. Davenport is currently 5-6 overall.

Lara Wentz (Bismark, ND) leads McKendree in goals with 10 on the season. Wentz has also registered three assists, for a total of 13 points on the year. Freshman forward
Delayne Ivanowski (Kirkwood, MO/Kirkwood) leads the team in assists with seven, along with four goals for 11 points. Freshman forwards
Keisha Johnson (Clearwater, BC),
Alyssa Albee (Brookfield, WI/Brookfield Central), and
Natalia Taylor (Sooke, BC/Athol Murray College of Notre Dame) all have seven points on the season. Both Johnson and Albee have scored five times and notched three assists a piece. Taylor has netted three goals and added four assists.
Freshman goaltender
Haylee Gannaway (Moreno Valley, CA/Rancho Verde) got the nod to start all three games in Colorado. Gannaway brought home a record of 2-1 on the weekend, for a total record of 4-3 on the season. She has a 3.08 goals-against average and a save percentage of 0.898. Sophomore goaltender
Abbey Anderson (Edwardsville, IL/Edwardsville) has a record of 1-2, with one shutout. Anderson has a goals-against average of 2.63 and a save percentage of 0.913. Freshman goalie
