(NORTH CANTON, Ohio, April 1)- Sophomore
Dana DiPasquale (St. Charles, Mo./Barat Academy) set a new school record with seven assists on Friday in 23-2 win at Walsh University.
The Bearcats improve to 5-4 overall and 3-1 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and will travel to Painesville, Ohio on Sunday, April 3 to play Lake Erie College at 12 p.m. ET.
Sophomore
Paige Salthouse (St. Louis, Mo./Ursuline Academy) led all players with six goals, while junior
Morgan Cremen (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley), and sophomores
Mia Fiore (Eureka, Mo./Eureka High School), and freshmen
Hannah Sugarman (Holden, Mass./Wachusett Regional High School) and
Emily Nelson (Deephaven, Minn./Holy Family Catholic) all had three goals each. DiPasquale and senior
Bree Suter (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) each had two goals, while junior
Madison Dauch (Lebanon, Ill./Lebanon) scored once. Porta improved to 5-4 in goal and had two saves in the win.
McKendree scored the first four goals of the game, before Walsh got on the board to make the score 4-1. The Bearcats followed with five-straight goals to extend the lead, but the Cavaliers scored again to make the score 9-2. McKendree scored seven more goals before the half to lead 16-2 at the break, and scored the only seven goals of the second half to earn the 23-2 win.
