Salthouse also set a new single-game school record with 10 draw controls.

Findlay cut its deficit to 18-13 with 11:10 left in the game, but the game was suspended due to storms moving through the area. Following the 30-minute delay, both teams traded goals to make the score 19-14 before another weather delay with 5:45 left. The Bearcats outscored the visitors 3-1 down the stretch to come away with the 22-15 win.
