(LEBANON, Ill., Feb. 1)—The McKendree University women's basketball team will play its final home contests of the season this week with a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference games. The Bearcats take on Maryville University Thursday at 5:30 p.m. before closing out its home slate Saturday at 1 p.m. against the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Amber Alexander (St. Louis, Mo./Parkway North),
Ellie Pusheck (South Milwaukee, Wis./South Milwaukee), and
Emily Pusheck (South Milwaukee, Wis./South Milwaukee) wrap up their four-year careers.
McKendree enters the week with a record of 10-10 overall and are 1-9 in the GLVC this season.
Ellie Pusheck (South Milwaukee, Wis./South Milwaukee) who averages a team high 8.9 points per game this season on .523 shooting to pair with 3.2 rebounds paces the Bearcats.
Emily Pusheck (South Milwaukee, Wis./South Milwaukee) is second on the team in points per game, averaging 7.6 while coming off the bench along with 5.2 rebounds and a team high 12 blocks. Freshman guard
Jordan Heberg (Romeoville, IL/Plainfield North) is third in scoring at 7.5 points per game and leads McKendree from long range shooting .343 from beyond the arc. McGinnis adds 6.9 points per game, while leading the Bearcats in rebounds per game at 6.9. Alexander averages 6.4 points for McKendree, leads the team in both assists, and steals with 3.05 and 1.35 respectively.
ABOUT MARYVILLE UNIVERSITY
The Saints come into the weekend with a record of 9-9 and are 5-6 in the GLVC. Maryville is led by sophomore guard Stephanie Sherwood leads the team in scoring, averaging 11.9 points per game. Sherwood adds 4.8 rebounds and is tied with a team high 19 steals. Sophomore guard Mary Barton and junior guard Ali Ringering both hold double-digit scoring averages at 11.8 and 11.6 points per game and are tied for a team high .522 field goal percentage from beyond the arc. Ringering also leads the team in assists with 37. Senior forward Alex Wolf hauls in a team high 8.2 boards, while shooting .588 for the field. Maryville is 4-4 against common opponents of the Bearcats this season, while McKendree is 2-6 in those contests. The Saints topped the Bearcats 71-60 in the team's only meeting a season ago.
ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI-St. LOUIS
The Tritons hold a 9-10 record with a 4-7 clip in conference play. UMSL is paced by sophomore forward Laura Szorenyi who averages a team high 14.7 points per game to pair with 3.2 rebounds. Junior center Jordan Fletcher is the only other Triton to average double figures at 13.7 points per game to go with 5.9 rebounds and a team high 24 blocks. Senior guard Robneisha Lee adds 9.1 points per game, leads UMSL in both assists, and steals with 2.0 and 1.7 respectively. The Tritons are 7-4 versus common opponents of McKendree with the Bearcats holding a 4-6 record in those games. UMSL came out victorious in the team's only matchup last season by a score of 56-40.
