(Lebanon, Ill., September 15) – The McKendree University men's soccer program fell to the Bellarmine University Knights in a 1-0 overtime contest this evening.

In the contest the Knights outshot the Bearcats 13-6 with McKendree putting two shots on frame.

In the 94 minute of play, Eddie Williamson found a rebound off an Ian Bender (Edwardsville, IL/Scott Gallagher Academy) save which he tapped into goal to secure the Bellarmine victory.

Ian Bender (Edwardsville, IL/Scott Gallagher Academy) posted four saves in net on five shots faced.

The men's soccer team is back in action on Sunday when the squad travels to the University of Indianapolis for a 2:30 p.m. ET contest.
