(LEBANON, Ill., October 11) – The McKendree University women's soccer team heads out on the road this weekend as they take on Missouri S&T at 5:00 p.m. this Friday, October 12, as well as the Saints of Maryville University at noon on Sunday, October 14 in Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) play.
 
The Bearcats currently sit atop the GLVC rankings with an 10-1-1 overall and 6-1-1 record. Offensively, McKendree is led by junior midfielder Madyson Mossman (St. Louis, MO/Ursuline Academy) who has tallied seven points through 12 games this season, followed by senior midfielder Jane Skaggs (St. Charles, MO/Duchesne) with six points. Junior goalkeeper Zoe Brochu (Ajax, Ontario, Canada/Pickering) has accumulated nine shutouts so far this year and has recorded 34 saves between the posts for the Bearcats.
 
The Miners of Missouri S&T are currently 3-7-1 overall and 2-5-1 in GLVC play, most recently defeating Truman State 1-0.
 
Maryville University is currently 6-2-3 overall and 5-2-1 in GLVC play after most recently defeating the University of Missouri – St. Louis 3-0.
