(BENSENVILLE, Ill., Nov. 11) – The McKendree University women's hockey team was defeated by Lindenwood University-Belleville 5-0 on Sunday morning to conclude the Robert Morris University Showcase.
 
The loss puts the Bearcats at 11-2 overall on the season.
 
The Lynx got out to an early lead in first period with a goal seven minutes into the game. Lindenwood would add two goals in both the second and third period to get ahead 5-0. The Bearcats were unable to get the puck past the Lynx goaltender as they would fall by the score of 5-0.
 
The women's hockey team will return to the rink on November 16-17 as they travel to Adrian College for a two-game series.
