(SOMERS, Wis., Jan. 10) – The McKendree University men's wrestling team travels to Kenosha, Wisconsin on Saturday, January 10 to compete in the Ranger Duals held on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, where they will compete against five other institutions.
 
Most recently the Bearcats placed fourth at the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) National Duals, which was the highest placement in men's wrestling program history. McKendree advanced to the third-place match, and despite match wins from Charles McNeal (Florissant, MO/Christian Brothers Catholic), Nick Foster (Belleville, IL/Belleville West), Michael Pixley (Granite City, IL), and Ryan Vasbinder (Grand Rapids, MI/Grandville), the Bearcats ultimately fell to the Lopers of Nebraska-Kearney 23-17.
